you know how people rant about eliminating the problem of racism. i think it's possible, but not in the near future. because right now, we have an even more nagging problem: discrimination against people of different classes but of the SAME race.

you know how people carry the condescending tone when they say 'Oi, that guy ang mo pai one, dont friend him.' and when others say 'that guy cheeeena beng lah.'
even when they are all chinese.

i can't see how this treatment is any different from the burakumin thingy in japan. how can we possibly start to tackle racism before such a problem isn't solved.
i dont know what to say.


i went to the zoo today with megan the fatgirl! and her mum and little brother. it was sooo fun. i love the otters cos they're sooo cute. i love the polar bear, the crocodiles. and the jackal, the sealion, the elephants. i love the tigers, leopard and jaguar! ok, actually i just love all the animals at the zoooo. SO FUN! but freaking humid. made me sticky as duct-tape.
