i had a CT brain scan at tan tock seng hospital today! haha very cool, new experience. gotta experience everything! except field camp.
but CT scans exposes me to radioactivity. what if i get cancer!

wooohooo i'm back at home on a thursday night cos we're staying out. not enough bunks in camp since the new BMT batch coming in. but i have to reach camp at 7.20am tmr so early!

going to hendon camp next week where hell starts. rahhhhh i dont wanna go.

anyway, i really dont think commandos are any good. actually none of the army units are good. i think police can win them anytime.
you see, police has firsthand everytime cos it has to tackle criminals which are always present. however, in the army, commando or not, they dont have any real experience. sure they practise everything but all in controlled environment. and they do these practice like drills so it's like a dead and inflexible set of actions. they wont know how to handle real fights and everything.

it's like you train for a race but dont actually go for the race. you'll definitely lose when you race against a much more experienced racer right.

in conclusion, scrape conscription army in singapore starting 30 jul 2010 please. thank you

i had fun with fatgirl today and had such a filling dinner! we went to marche at 313 and had rosti which is a very very delicious potato dish!

army is really boring and tiring and i hate it. mehhhh. but this week we have a new pet praying mantis. it's really cool watching him eat grasshoppers and lizards. it's really a vicious predator! the way it hunts is really cool. but guess what, we also saw another praying mantis eaten by a bird.
we witnessed the food chain! we saw a praying mantis at the grandstand then when it flew away, everyone was like 'WOWWWW' And as we were watching in awe at the little predator flying away, the bird caught it midflight and landed to eat. then all of us went 'AWWWWWWW' so anticlimax.

then when we put one of the grasshoppers into the container with the mantis, the grasshopper actually started to eat the grass in the container! having his last supper before becoming the mantis's supper.
grass -> grasshopper -> praying mantis -> bird
